At Yindee Thai Massage, we use a variety of techniques including remedial massage, trigger point therapy, myotherapy and myofascial release. Remedial massage is also eligible for Private Health insurance rebates, depending on your fund and level of cover, which is why many clients choose it as part of their ongoing care.

What To Expect
When you come to us for a remedial massage, you can expect an in-depth consultation with our massage therapists. We'll discuss your individual needs and figure out the best approach to manage your pain or injury. We will also provide you with detailed advice on how to minimise any discomfort while we work and suggest various ways in which you can maintain this positive progress after the massage.
The entire session takes between 30-90 minutes. During this time, you can look forward to a peaceful and calming atmosphere in which you'll be able to relax and feel relieved from the pain. Our massage therapists will use a combination of pressures to eliminate any muscular tension or imbalances within your body.
Ultimately, our goal is to provide you with a long-term solution that effectively corrects your issue and provides relief from any pain or discomfort.
At Yindee Thai Massage we offer private health fund rebates on remedial massage services only. Any private health fund that offers reimbursements for remedial massage is eligible here.
What is the difference between remedial massage and other massage styles?
Remedial massage focuses on treating and rehabilitating injuries, pain or dysfunction in the body. It uses techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release to address specific areas of concern.
Other massage styles, such as Swedish massage or aromatherapy, primarily aim to relax the body and promote overall well-being. These styles may also use techniques like kneading and gentle pressure. Unlike remedial massage, other massages do not necessarily address specific issues in the body but instead work on improving circulation, reducing stress and tension, and enhancing the mind-body connection.
